While the entire population of India is mourning the death of a great leader, a visionary and a gem of a person Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a social media post regarding Delhi CM celebrating his Birthday has been creating havoc in social media.
Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee passed away yesterday at around 5.05PM at AIIMS, coincidently the same date falls as the birthdate of the present CM of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal.
While the news of deteriorating health condition of Atal Bihari Vajpayee was making rounds, the CM of Delhi had announced through his media-in-charge Nagendra Sharma that he will not celebrate his birthday and also urged his supporters to do the same but a post has been making rounds on social media where a picture can be seen of CM Kejriwal cutting a whopping 50kg birthday cake and smiling.
Simultaneously another post has come to light where a video has been published on social media claiming that the cake was brought in by the supporters of the CM which was duly accepted and was later distributed to all. In the video, Delhi CM can be seen asking the people to provide support to the Kerala flood victims.
Though the truth is yet to be unveiled but if the above picture is to be believed, the question still remains, while the entire nation is crying and mourning the loss of a great leader, how can a sensible person can smile brightly and celebrate his birthday that too being a CM of the nation’s capital.
The post has created an uproar among the netizens in India and people are criticizing the CM of Delhi. The CM could have taken into consideration the mental state of the people of India and postponed his celebration.
